Neuro- Toxicology
Neurotoxicity
damages the brain and the peripheral nervous system, which is exposure to
natural or man-made toxic
substances. These toxins affect the neurons and alter the activity
of the nervous system. When an individual consumed addictive
substance, the body responds to the substance by influencing
neurotransmitter that affects the cellular membrane integrity. The treatment
approach to neurotoxicity is only by eliminating or reducing the toxic
substance by providing therapy to relieve symptoms or by providing support.
