Psychosis in Addiction
Psychosis
is generally distinguished as the impaired relationship the person faces with
reality where they are not aware of the behaviour
cause of their abnormal thinking and perceptions. It is a mental disorder
that disconnection from reality with possible symptoms includes delusions,
hallucinations, talking incoherently and agitation. It is a serious illusion
disease which a person faces through. Addicts who affected with
psychosis experience loss of motivation and social withdrawal. Psychosis
may also cause people to hurt themselves or others which are a frightening
experience. Each case faced by psychosis
illness is different and the exact reason for their behaviour
is not always clear.
