Substance Addiction

Substance Addiction problems are very complex medical problems. The Substance like pills and other common drugs which are used abusively causes severe effects on brain and addictive substances alter the brain’s ability to send and receive chemicals called neurotransmitters, which cause pleasure, meaning the drug user relies on the drug, rather than his or her natural brain chemicals, for feelings of pleasure. Anxiety and depression are the other mental health condition which may play a role when a person is addicted to the substance. The brain gets addicted to the over-consumption of drug and when people stop consuming the substance, they suffer withdrawal symptoms that can include shivering, severe headaches and sometimes can even be life-threatening. Mental and psychological problems also occur during drug withdrawal. The proper recovery process should be carried out in order to relief from the substance addiction.
