Dr Vanlal Thanzami is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology at Monash University Malaysia. Her research focuses on interpersonal and honor-based violence, cyberbullying, social media and technology usage and psychological wellbeing, personality and evolutionary psychology. Her teaching expertise is within the areas of social, cross-cultural and forensic psychology and she continuously strives to educate and inspire her students through research-informed teaching. She has published in reputable peer-reviewed journals and is a member of the Honor Abuse Research Matrix and the International Society for Research on Aggression, and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (U.K).
