Central Nervous System consists of the brain and spinal cord which is affected by some neurological conditions that are associated with substance use disorders. The CNS gets slow down or speed up by the mind-altering drugs and the drugs also affects the autonomic functions necessary for living, such as body temperature, heart rate, blood pressure and respiration. The brain’s neurotransmitters or chemical messengers get affect by addictive substance. From a neurological point of view, addictive scatters emerge when a drug changes the way the individual’s cerebrum feels the pleasure of drugs. The addictive drugs anticipate the nerves in the mind by secreting dopamine a joy chemical which affects their CNS normal function.
