Addiction is a chronic disease that affects the brain in complex ways that contribute to compulsive and uncontrollable use which can occur in many forms. Often referred to as process addiction or non-substance addiction, behavioural addictions can occur with all the negative consequences in a person’s who engages in a particular behaviour repeatedly. The person struggles with physical health or mental health issues because of the behaviour and the inability to stop it. Behavioural addictions are associated with impulse control that affects the neural circuitry of the brain's reward system. The Behaviour addiction differs from person to person which makes predicting the defect becomes impossible. It can also be treated with some programs focuses on rehabilitation and recovery rather than detoxification
